Why Join the OSDA Performance & Competition Teams?
Joining an OSDA Performing Company or Competition Team means more than dance—it’s about friendship, growth, teamwork, and being part of something truly special. Our team dancers train together, support one another, and develop strong technique, discipline, and confidence both in the studio and on stage.
From rehearsals to performances and competitions, dancers gain valuable experience, create lasting memories, and build skills that help them grow as performers and individuals.
Our teams provide dedicated dancers with additional training opportunities, performance experiences, and the chance to represent On Stage Dance Academy in Glendale, Arizona.
PERFORMING COMPANY
throughout the Valley and beyond, showcasing their talent at events such as Disneyland, Las Vegas stages, the Arizona State Fair, Glendale Glitters, school events, community performances, fundraisers, retirement homes, and more.
These performance opportunities help dancers build confidence, stage presence, and teamwork while sharing their love of dance with the community.
Dancers are eligible to join after completing at least one year of tap, ballet, and jazz training at On Stage Dance Academy.
Interested students should speak with their instructor to learn more about becoming a Performing Company member.
COMPETITION TEAM
On Stage Dance Academy has two long-standing Competition Teams that have competed in both local and national events for over 25 years. Our dancers have earned top awards at prestigious competitions including:
- Dance Educators of America (DEA)
- Sheer Talent
- Next Level Dance Competition
- Hollywood Vibe Dance Convention & Competition
- Starbound National Talent Competition
- Rainbow National Dance Competition
- Showstopper Dance Competition
While awards are exciting, our focus goes far beyond medals. We are committed to helping dancers reach their full potential in technique, artistry, and performance quality.
Our instructors create routines that are age-appropriate, engaging, and challenging while encouraging discipline, teamwork, and personal growth.
Students who participate in our Performing Companies for a period of time may audition for the Competition Team.
