Rose Troiani – Director & Founder

With over five decades of experience, Rose Troiani is a highly respected dance educator, performer, and mentor whose influence spans generations of dancers. Her career is rooted in classical and professional training, including study and affiliation with some of the most respected institutions in dance education, including the Dance Educators of America, Cecchetti Council of America, Royal Academy of Dance, and The Juilliard School.

Rose’s foundation in these internationally recognized programs has shaped her disciplined yet nurturing approach to instruction—balancing technical excellence with artistry, confidence, and character. Her commitment to high standards and continued education has helped establish On Stage Dance Academy as a place where dancers receive structured professional training while being encouraged to grow creatively and personally.

Her legacy is seen not only in her credentials, but in the countless students she has mentored, inspired, and prepared for success both on and off the stage. Under her leadership, the academy continues to uphold a tradition of excellence, integrity, and passion for the art of dance.

Teacher Training Program at On Stage Dance Academy

Interested in Becoming a Dance Teacher?

At On Stage Dance Academy, we are dedicated to developing not only strong, well-trained dancers, but confident, knowledgeable, and inspiring educators. Our Teacher Training Program is designed for dancers who want to grow beyond technique and take the next step into leadership, mentorship, and instruction in Glendale, Arizona.

This program provides participants with hands-on teaching experience, foundational education principles, and ongoing mentorship within a professional studio environment. Trainees learn effective class structure, age-appropriate instruction, communication skills, choreography fundamentals, and classroom management while observing and assisting experienced instructors in live dance classes.

The Teacher Training Program encourages personal growth, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the art of teaching. It is ideal for dedicated dancers who are passionate about sharing their love of dance, supporting younger students, and building a strong foundation for future teaching opportunities.

Program Requirements:

Minimum age: 13
At least two years of dance training
Emphasis on proper technique, dance terminology, and the physical and educational aspects of instruction
Completion of evaluations and assessments required before assisting or teaching
We also offer advanced teacher classes and professional certification.
